Kauai is home to a variety of Outrigger Canoe Races. Learn about them here and view the race schedule (scroll down for schedule). Some events are distance races which are appropriate for teenage through adult competitors.
The regatta races are open to younger athletes. These races range from one quarter mile to one and one half miles, depending on age group and experience level.
And, each year KOA sponsors two long distance races – the Prince Kuhio race in the spring and the Na Pali Challenge in late summer.
